Get To Know Mikshira


Mikshira is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with over 15 years of nursing experience in various settings ranging from medical-surgical nursing to psychiatric care. She received a Master of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University in 2018.

She went on to receive a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Herzing University in 2023. While attending Herzing University, she worked in urgent care, emergency medicine and inpatient psychiatric care facility serving patients across the lifespan.

Clients can expect

Mental health services that are comprehensive and compassionate with a provider who has a natural ability to build rapport with patients and families. She provides psychiatric evaluations, establishes treatment goals, diagnosis and treatment education, as well as medication management. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
